In Europe, at least in Berlin and Stockholm, no one is working the so-called “it bag” : it’s all about canvas tote bags, over there. Younger crowds use it as much as a purse than as a carry-all bag. Which gives me a good reason to adopt one of the lovely tote bags by Field guided.

Apart from writing a very cute blog, Anabela creates minimalist, yet heart-striking tote bags for everyday purposes. The young lady, living in Toronto, also offers cute neckties and photographic prints on her online store. My favorite bag is definitely the “There is thunder in our hearts” tote which replicates lyrics from Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush. It also happens to be my favorite Chromatics song, which they covered on their album, Italo Disco. On the day I was thinking of writing this post, I came across a girl carrying that same bag on the streets of Stockholm… Talk about coincidence ?
